Famille Perrin - Les Crus

Perrin & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Presentation

The family’s other Châteauneuf ! Les Sinards comes from the young vines of Beaucastel and a neighbouring vineyard that we farm.

Ageing

Partly flash-heated like Beaucastel and partly vinified in the traditional way after destemming. 100% Foudres for a year. Bottled after fining and light filtration

The vintage

A great vintage. This year is characterized by the contrast between an extremely hot July and a very cool august, but also beneficial rainfall in the middle of both months.
September was hot during the first half with two heavy rainfalls. They did not hurt the quality of the vintage. We were able to carry out a late harvest during the beautiful Indian summer lasting until mid October.
